Single-stranded RNA as SARS-CoV-2 research tool

SARS-CoV-2 belongs to the group of coronaviruses, which are (+) single-stranded RNA viruses and is responsible for the COVID-19 pandemic. The elucidation of the molecular mechanisms behind the infection is one of the most sought questions in the research community at the moment. Eupheria Biotech can contribute to this quest by offering in-vitro transcribed single-stranded RNA molecules against parts of the genome of SARS-CoV-2, which can serve as positive controls for experiment validation. You simply need to provide us with a sequence between 150 – 420 nt. Specifications

Quality Control: The PCR products used for production are tested via gel electrophoresis and identity is confirmed by DNA sequencing. Quality of the ssRNA is validated by gel electrophoresis and concentrations are determined by measuring OD260 or fluorescence intensity.

Purification: ssRNA is precipitated with isopropanol and washed with ethanol.

Format: ssRNA are delivered in solution (resuspended in nuclease-free TE buffer) normalized to 200 ng/µl at 20 µg scales in tubes. Higher concentrations are available upon request.

 

Storage and Stability: ssRNA stored at -80°C are stable for 2 years. Reduce the number of freeze/thaw cycles to a minimum.

Shipment: Shipped in solution on dry ice in tubes.

Technical Data Sheet: The ssRNA will be delivered with a technical data sheet, which includes ssRNA ID number, organism, amount (µg), concentration, lot #, and sequence.
